Can a coach release a scholarship athlete because they "do not live the lifstyle that is expected" of the school? And does the parent have a right to know the truth about what is going on even if the athlete is over 18?

what if someone plays a D1 sport and is a sophmore and wants to transfer to another school but grades are not the greatest and decides to attend a community college for a year to get grades up...would he still have 2 years left of playing eligibility?

I am currently helping my friend resurrect his collegiate football career and would like to know if he has any eligibility left in Division I or II.
1. My friend enrolled in a D-I school in fall 2003, where he played football.
2. In fall 2004, he was placed on an academic redshirt. Fall 2004 was his last semester at the Div I school.
3. In Fall 2005, my friend enrolled in a JUCO where he played ball. He stayed for the spring semester.
4. In Fall 2006, my friend transferred to a D-II school where he did not participate as a student-athlete on any varsity sports teams.
5. It is now fall 2008, and he would like to play in fall 2009. Is he eligible?

My son plays Div 1 baseball and I was wondering if he could take a supplement called Test X180 made by Force Factor. It is not a steroid but is supposed to raise your testosterone levels. My son says that any supplement that raises your testosterone level could be a problem. Jim
